The last piece of the tree in France I was given in 2018. It had no knots so the colour adds real depth and sparkle. A spectacular piece, difficult to capture on the photo.
Because it had been cut down 3 years ago and kept under cover it had become very dry and hard, so it was very difficult to hollow
